YOI Modeling-Fashion-Photographer AU
I guess i got too carried away with this post in which I wrote a fashion/modeling hc for the yois lmao then I made an entirely new AU lol bless this holiday.
Katsuki Yuuri is a model signed with an international agency who’s nearing the end of his contract. Having born with the face, he was actually a promising model at the start of his career, but he often fluked his shoots and walks due to anxiety, even though at other times he did good enough to appear at a couple of ‘top models’ list. After he fell and cried at NYFW, all shows for his remaining 4 big fashion weeks are cancelled. He then came home for once and Nishigori Yuko, the owner of local photo studio, photographs him for the studio’s publicity.
Enter Victor Nikiforov, a 27 years old legendary supermodel. Having achieved everything a model could achieve, he decided to pursue his passion in designing, but no one seemed to take him seriously. He wanted to work on everything by himself. Designing, photographing the ads, and finding the models because he believes that no one else could understand his brand’s aesthetics.
Yuko used Victor’s clothing for Yuuri’s video, and it turns out that her triplets also recorded his walk, edited it, and uploaded it to the internet! Victor who saw the video flew right away to Japan to sign a contract with Yuuri to make him his fashion muse. Together, they aspire to take the big four fashion week and Vogue by storm!

Just had a meeting with a Director of Photography at a Starbucks for a job only to have it get interrupted partway through by a dude who yelled out that he had to pour an iced latte on himself for a bet he lost with his YouTube subscribers and promptly did just that.
My bemused expression was caught on Go Pro by said YouTube star’s friend.
Other than that the meeting went well.

this is so 100% Lebanese. everything from the dumpster rolling down the street, to the old fashion mercedes, to the soft french music playing in the background, to the scenery, to the random dude stopping his car on the highway to get out, to the two dudes on the mo-ped beeping and driving up the street the wrong way. The existence of photos like these (and similar photos from the 70s and 80s and so on) makes me wonder yet again why current-day movies set in this time never seem to be able to get the hair and clothing right.
